Tenants
A simpler way for tenants to deal with their property manager
Proper Manager is the software your property manager may use to give you clear access to tenancy details, payments and maintenance requests.
Your tenancy information
Your property manager can use Proper Manager to give you a secure login to a tenant portal. Once you are signed in, you can see the details of your tenancy in one place, so you do not need to search old emails or messages.
- Property address and tenancy dates
- Rent amount and due dates
- Documents shared by your property manager, such as your agreement
Payments
The portal shows the payment information your property manager has recorded, so you can check what has been received and what is due next.
If something looks wrong, you can contact your property manager with the details in front of you.
- Rent due dates and payment status
- A record of payments received
- Clear reference details to quote when you contact the office
Maintenance requests
If something in the property needs attention, you can report it through the portal with a description and photographs. The request is recorded against your property, so your property manager can see it and decide what to do next.
You can follow the status of your request instead of having to ask for updates. For urgent problems, such as a serious leak, always use the emergency contact your property manager has given you.
- Report a problem with a description and photographs
- See the status of open requests
- View previous requests for your property
Contacts
Your property manager can publish the contact details you need, including office hours and emergency numbers. Having them in the portal means you know who to call before a problem arises.
- Office contact details
- Emergency contact information where provided
- Messages recorded against your tenancy
Privacy
You see your own tenancy and nothing belonging to other tenants or owners. Access is controlled by role, and your property manager decides which documents and details are published to you.
Your personal information is handled in line with your property manager's privacy policy. If you have a question about how your data is used, please ask them directly.
- Access limited to your own tenancy
- Separate roles for tenants, owners and staff
- Documents published only when your property manager chooses
Cannot sign in or not sure who your property manager is?
Your login details come from your property manager. If you have lost them, contact your manager directly. You can also read the tenant questions in our FAQ.
